graphics card Max resolution?

so with max resolution, does that mean just one single monitor cant be larger than it? or does it mean across all monitors hooked up, it cant total more than that amount?

long story short, i had 2 video cards but now i only have 1 atm, 780 ti. I have a 1440p and a 4k display. i want them both hooked up but will it screw with my graphics card?

Performance will be affected.

You can hook both, your gpu will support both, just if you game on both, performance will be terrible.

The max resolution is for each single connection type, it will give you all the details in the specs of the card. There is also the max usable resolution you can play at, which is different. A single 780 will not be able to run modern games on a 4k monitor very well. 1440 it can but also depends on the game and settings.

yea i know, im familar with that. its just i havent run single gpu in awhile is all. I would run games in 4k with my SLI 780 Ti, as well as games in 1440p.
