Greetings all!
I just completed a new computer build, or so I thought. Upon booting the computer up, getting windows installed, I went through the motions to double check if things were working as intended. I was getting picture via my monitor (which was hooked up via the graphics card's DVI output) and I could hear & see the GPU (GTX 970 FTW) fans spinning up. I went to install the drivers for the card and the software could not detect any graphics card.... I then opened the device manager to confirm that there was indeed no gcard to be found in the video adapters drop down.
It is with this I present my question...
I am getting picture when the monitor is hooked up to the graphics card... I can see and hear the fans spinning up... but the card cannot be detected by both windows and or the nvidia drivers. Suggestions?
Comp Info:
GPU - GTX 970 FTW
MB - MSI Z97 GD65
Processor - Intel i7 4790K
RAM - 16gigs
OS - Windows 8.1
PS - 850w
