[SOLVED] Graphics card not fitting into Mobo

My RTX 2080 won't seem to snap into my PCI slot and I don't know why. The case is plenty big, and the brackets have been removed, I can't really tell why it won't go in. I'm using plenty of force, and I'm afraid I'll damage the card. Any ideas of what might be going on here?

Was there a cover on the insertion part of the card? Is it removed?

Did u check the latch at the right? It needs to be opened. (moved to the right)

Thank you for your speedy response, I did remove the cover, but I also finally got it. Don't really know what I did differently, but luckily it worked.

Sometimes it has to be just right and it slides right in , glad your all set! 👍
