graphics card problems?

recently i brought some asus r9 280x graphics cards and am running them on cross fire, since adding them to my system, im not sure whats happening but when i play games, (any type) i think they have a malfunction of some sort, basically what happens is the screen goes black, then sort of "reboots" my screen then says vga or what ever type of cable i have plugged into the monitor, then the GPU fans boot up abit then go back to normal, and 9/10 the game crashed and the screen goes black, i then have to ctrl alt delete and end task that way....

i have an EVGA SUPERNOVA 1000W G2 PSU so that souldnt be the problem?

any help would be great... thanks!

Uh have you installed the graphics drivers? And your PSU isn't really good.

as far as i am aware all the drivers are up to date from what "AMD Gaming Evolved" is telling me, and the PSU was recocomended as my system was only using about 850w

Alright nvm about the PSU I looked it up and it is gold. But try downloading the GPU drivers here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

i just tried the link to download the drivers, and the pop come back up saying "you system has the latest drivers installed" any other suggestions? =/

Maybe you got the defective ones, they're probably damaged or something. Try to return them if you can, but if you can't then I don't know what else to do for you. Sorry 🙁
