graphics card to get

Hello I need to get myself a new GPU and I was wondering what would go well with my system?

Processor AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor

Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB

Graphics AMD 760G

Primary hard disk 336GB Free (466GB Total)

Motherboard- A76ML-K 3.0

Power supply box- AC Input 200-240V~,3A,50Hz
Total output continuous shall not exceed 350watts


Need a graphics card to run games but will fit in my case (last card I bought was way too big) something like the 6870 but a lot better Thanks!

I would get a gtx 760 mini and a new power supply like the xfx 550w or 650w power supplies. Also, you should have a little money left over so I would get one more stick of 4gb ram. Just make sure it is the exact same type and you should be good.

The gtx 760 mini is Nvidia though? Most the componets in my pc are AMD. Would that work?

If you can spend the extra money, get another stick of the EXACT same ram you have now. The nVidia card will work with everything else. Also, the 760 is more powerful than the R9 270 so that is why I would get the 760 instead.

The stuff came but my monitor wont work with the new GPU, it just goes into sleep mode. I put my old GPU back in and it works. How can i get my new card to work?

Make sure that you uninstall the old drivers first. Then make sure the GPU is seated properly in the PCIE slot. Report back

Tried that and tried booting from the on board graphics with my new card installed but I get the same problem. That can't be right?

Everything is working now! I installed some motherboard drivers that were missing if anyone wanted to know!
