It is a single slot card, but it takes up 2 slots inside the case: http://store.galaxytechus.com/GALAXY-GeForce-GTX-750-Ti-GC-Slim-2-GB-GDDR5-PCI-Express-30-DVIHDMIVGA-Graphics-CardbrbrBONUS-Low-profile-brackets-now-included-freebrbrFree-Gift-150-In-Game-for-Warface-Path-of-Exile-and-Heroes-of-Newerth_p_90.html What size is the PSU you have now? And is it a TFX size? If so, it would look like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-GENUINE-220W-Acer-Aspire-X1430G-Power-Supply-/121315475800?_trksid=p2054897.l5665

Can I just throw http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4UB1JJ0514 this in? Will it make a difference? No, that's a horrible card for gaming. The small 220W PSU is going to be the weak link in the card selection. With that tiny PSU, you are going to be limited to a low end gfx card. The Galaxy GTX 750 Ti that I recommended, I would not get. Your PSU is too weak. One of these HD 6450 cards is all I would trust with that PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=hd+6450&N=100006662&isNodeId=1 But don't get the one that is double-wide.
