Graphics Card upgrade

Hello there, I would like to know what graphics card would be compatible/good for my PC, my budget is lower than $300-$400.
I have a 1920x1080 27 inch monitor, i7 3.40 GHz, Nvidia GT630, 12 GB ram, 2 TB Hardrive, and 64 bit windows 7 (not sure how to check my motherboard).

To know what is compatible/good, we need to know 2 more things:

Motherboard
Power supply

Check AIDA64, gives a 30 day trial, for the motherboard info.

Well the motherboard is an Acer Predator G3620, also I forgot to mention I bought this PC this summer, so it's still new.

670 or 7970.If you want PhysX, for games such as Batman: Arkham, Crysis 2, Skyrim, Borderlands 2; then buy 670. Otherwise 7970.

Your gt630, very weak gpu, only needs a 300W PSU. However high end gpus need 500W. So you need to be sure of your power supply.
