I just installed a new Athlon64 3400+ and a DFI LanParty UT 205gb. I have an
All in Wonder 8500DV as my graphics card. Before the new processor and
botherboard, I got around 6500 on 3D Mark 2001SE. When I first installed the
processor, I got around 8000. Now I am getting 1000. I have all the new
drivers installed. All the hardware is the same except for the motherboard
and CPU. How Can I get this back to normal speed?

Did you update the chipset driver from the Nvidia website? If so, go to the
DFI website and get the chipset drivers for your motherboard and install
them. I had the same problem with a Gigabyte board. Apparently, the
disclaimer on the Nvidia site isn't just for show- in some cases you
actually need the drivers modified by the motherboard manufacture.

Just have to back track till you find the problem. Try to roll back your
video drivers.

Yes. I just Did . Now It tells me that I have No Graphics Card.

Did you do a clean install of XP or a Repair Installation?

Ok, if you now have the chipset drivers from the DFI website, go to the ATI
website and download the CAT uninstaller and the latest drivers for your
graphics card. Run the CAT uninstaller, then install the new drivers.

Now it says that I have a Video Card, but the framerate issue is still there

Your mainboard
Supports AGP 8x up to 2132MB/sec. and AGP 4x up to 1066MB/sec. bandwidth
for 3D graphics applications
Supports 0.8/1.5V add-in cards

The ATI 8500.
a.. AGP universal bus (for AGP 2X/4X systems)

I am not able to see your setup but I would think that the AGP voltages
are wrong. This can be set on some boards in the BIOS. Move up to
a 9800.
