Hi,

I am using an ASUS laptop which has dual integrated video cards: AMD HD 8450G+ HD8600M. Together they are supposed to have 4GB of VRAM, however in the Catalyst Control Center (driver) it shows that primary adapter has memory of 768MB and the linked one has 2048MB, which don't add up to 4GB that is shown in the "Display" tab of dxdiag. What is the reason for this difference?

DXdiag doesn't always pull correct information when it comes to video memory. Key words there are probably "up to" 4GB of addressable VRAM.
The thing is, in adapter properties it says that "Total Available Graphics Memory: 4457MB" and "Dedicated Video Memory: 3072MB"
