Hi, I have this issue(in example videos below), specifically in BeamNG Drive and The Crew Motorfest. Another thing happening simultaneously with this problem is that games in UE5 and DX12 crash with this error: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED.

Here's what I have already tried:

Clean reinstall of video drivers with DDU. Disabled XMP. Underclocked the video card. Downgraded RAM from 32GB to 16GB (the reason being that I have different brands of RAM, 2x16GB Crucial and 2x16GB Corsair). Reinstalled game files. Reinstalled Windows 11. Downgraded the OS from Windows 11 to Windows 10. The temperatures of all system components are good

My PC specs are:
CPU: i7 11700
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z590 Gaming Plus
Video Card: Gigabyte RTX 3080
Current RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2x16GB

Storage:
1 SSD: Crucial P1 500GB (Games are stored here)
1 SSD: Kingston A400 250GB (OS is stored here)
2x HDD: Seagate 3TB in total

If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you source your OS installers from? Did you install said OSes in offline mode? You shouldn't be making this many jump with the OS. In fact stick to one and then install all relevant drivers that are the latest version, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

BIOS version for your motherboard?

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU as well as it's age. Got links to the rams you're working with?

Thanks for the replies.
- I downloaded the Os from the official Microsoft website.
- My PSU is a Corsair CX850M, 850W, and 80 Plus Bronze. I bought it four years ago.
- My BIOS version is the latest.

Your PSU is on the low-end of Corsairs quality models and the 3080 is VERY demanding in terms of power needs. This very well could be the issue.

PSUs can and do degrade over time.

Am aware, but is it possible that these problems are only arising now? I've been playing with this PSU and GPU for about 2 years, and it has never given me any issues, even with heavy games like Flight Simulator

Sure, it is also possible that the GPU is failing. If the PSU isn't providing sufficient power, especially when the GPU is under a heavy processing load/using all features, it can lead to these sorts of issues.

Do you have access to another GPU or PSU to swap for testing? If so, we may be able to more definitively isolate the issue.

Are there benchmark programs to check the power supply consumption in order to see the actual watts it delivers?
-If it can be useful, I have a watt meter to place between the power outlet and the PC. Could it work to measure the watts the GPU consumes?

I apologize for the delay in my response, but I wanted to perform the tests you recommended. The tests show that each component receives the appropriate wattage. I used stress tests for both the GPU and CPU to conduct these tests and also tried them in games where I encountered issues.
Do you have any other ideas on what else I could try to check?

During the tests, did any issues present themselves?

Also, are you running high video game settings, or a lower setting? Is it only the couple of games mentioned earlier?
The games I'm experiencing issues with are those using the UE5 graphics engine, and for now, the two mentioned. Video settings are at maximum for both mentioned games. For instance, in GTA 5 with very heavy graphical mods, I don't encounter any issues even after several hours.

Is this GPU still under warranty?

If not, you can try re-pasting it/replacing its thermal pads. This means removing the GPU cooler and replacing the materials between it and the GPU/PCB.
Unfortunately, it is no longer under warranty. I know how to proceed because I have already done it on the GTX 970. However, I don't believe it's a problem related to dissipation as the temperatures are normal.

That first video kind of looks like artifacting, which could be a serious GPU issue. I don't see an issue at all in the second video. What were you trying to show there?

The artifacting in the first video might be as simple as a faulty cable or incompatibility in the GPU's HDMI version output versus the display's HDMI version setting.

Some other thoughts I'd like to share here. I've been fighting with my rig about similar glitches for almost 2 years now. Thermals were good, and no utilities or suggestions seemed to help.

I have a 5900X with 32GB of DDR4-3200, and an 8GB RTX3060ti. Mine at certain points was displaying similar artifacting in certain applications, which turned out to be an Armoury Crate thing -- I have an Asus Tuf B550-PLUS and KO RTX3060ti.

My primary issue, however (of several), was frequent segmented updating of the display when playing ATS, like you might see in one of those goofy video transitions where it moves the existing image in thirds to reveal the next image. I think some might call this tearing.

After pulling my hair out for two years and trying all manner of things, I ran across some posts that basically explained that while more FPS is generally good, exceeding your display's actual refresh rate can cause a lot of issues that might suggest a more serious problem.

I also learned that game capture cards are primarily for streaming / recording console gameplay and not needed for recording PC gameplay. So I removed my ElGato 4K60 Plus, double checked my GPU switch was set to P, capped my FPS at 57, and it's much better now.

There still might be something else I haven't found yet, but at least the game is playable without driving me nuts. I have a feeling it's about as good as I'm going to get with a 60hz display.

As you haven't mentioned your display or refresh rate, that's something you might want to look into. Sometimes it really can be that simple, and the machine itself is not even the problem.
