Graphics Problem

I'm believe I'm' having issues with my new radeon 7870. My rig is pretty much brand new other than my hard drive.

MB - ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77
CPU - i5 3570k stock speed
GPU Radeon 7870 9.2.0.0 stock speed
8 GB ram
Win 7


I reformatted my hard drive after I installed my hardware, then installed my drivers. The best way to describe my problem is that some textures don't show up and my fps isn't ever stable. Sometimes there's some flickering with certain games but all my games seem to be affected in some way.

Any other information let me know. Thanks in advance.

you forgot to mention your power supply rating
you have the newest video drivers installed too right?
are you expecting those issues only in games? sometimes turning on vsync in games will help

Oh yea corsair 750w.
Yea my video drivers are up to date.
Should I be using the catalyst control center or application settings to adjust my graphics?

My screen never flickers or tares when Im not in game.

use in game graphics settings to enable vsync, i have bad experience trying to set profiles in ati catalyst for games

I have vsync enabled, tried it without as well. still the same. If I put it into an older machine and get the drivers going would that be the best way to test it?
