I am getting big stutter issues while playing Battlefield while I have no FPS drops.
This is my gaming setup.
I7 4770K (stock)
AMD R9 290 vapor x from sapphire
16 GB of corsair vengeance
Asus Z97-PRO
3TB HDD
250 GB SSD
850 Watt power suply from BeQuite
Windows 8.1
and a LG bluray read and wright optical drive.

I have searched all over the web and tried a lot but I wasn't able to find the problem.
I would really like to play these games at ultra with no lag/stutter issues, but it just isn't possible as it is now.

I hope someone has a fix for this problem.

try making a gaming user and run nothing no tags, no Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology Monitor, just maybe no icons, close every window before running the game and run the prersonalization in >High Contrast White<

The game is installed on my hdd, other games run just fine in W8.1 only Battlefield games have problems. My pc is not connected with wireles, and my connection is around 160 Mbit/s (20MB/s). And I don't use an HDMI but a DisplayPort.
So my hardware is just fine, but for some reason it just can't handel BF3 verry good while it should be able to handle the games easely.

I don't seem to have any problems with those since the beta came out and I started playing again. So it probably are driver issues, but as clarification I only had these problems on battlefield games.

There are 2 things that cause stuttering in BFH, one of which can be helped.

1. Disable the Origin overlay. This can be done under the Origin settings. I believe it's under the in game tab (I'm going off my memory). Just uncheck and you're good to go. I don't know why it helps but it does. This is true for all Origin games I hear. I only own Battlefield games on Origin so I cannot confirm.

2. Punkbuster for BFH causes CPU spikes. It’s just the way it is right now until they patch PB. I've tried playing on servers without it and it's smooth as silk. Problem is those servers aren't popular. I've tried using PB from BF4 on BFH by copying the folders over, and it DID work. The game ran smooth, BUT I got kicked for running the wrong version of PB every time.

For now I'm sticking with BF4 until a patch or a strong custom server community on BFH that disables PB.

Hope that helps Coolones!

Please if anybody has absolutely no issues I would greatly appreciate your PC specs. THANKS!
