Hey guys... just got done wiring and building my first gaming computer. i followed instructions and i *think* i did everything correctly, infact i am almost positive. everything i have is brand new, and there are no bent pins on the cpu.

Essentially after plugging everything in a green light turns on on the motherboard, but the power button on the case does nothing. no fans start spinning and no leds turn on. and i dont have a motherboard speaker, so no error sounds. Could this be a wiring problem, or do you think this is a physical problem?

also could it possibly be a compatibility problem?

My specs are here:

It would need a BIOS update for that mobo. Look at the sticker on the mobo. What are the last 4 numbers??

If its under 2001, you'll have to update the BIOS before it'll post

Pentium G3258 (3.2GHz, 2C, L3:3M, GT1, 53W, rev.C0) ALL 2001

But the only way you can do this, is to take it to a shop, ask and them to flash it with a cpu it supports. Or you'll have to buy a cpu it supports then do it
