First my setup only about 5 months old
Specifications -
CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE @ 3.5Ghz -> Stock is 3.2
GPU - ASuS GTX 550 TI @ 930mhz Direct CU2
RAM - 8GB 4x2GB 2xG.Skill and 2xBallistix
PSU - 430Watt
Mobo - Biostar TA870U3+
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Issue - I have this issue sometimes while turning or racing straight lines where i get this tremendous fps drop from 60 solid to about 20 fps then it goes back to 60 but its like everything fast forward the ammount of seconds i was spiked. spikes last about 5 seconds makes game unplayable. Hence i was playing this game on the same build but i reinstalled my OS. I have the latest graphics drivers. All other games i play like skyrim and such are all 60fps solid no problems? I've tried my troubleshooting knowledge. Anything i should try? I'm willing to do trial and error. Also before i reinstalled windows i had an 3.8ghz overclock but it bluescreened alot but i doubt overclocking higher would help.
