Gsync not working.

I have an Asus GL502VM and it has a Gsync monitor, but I can't for the life of me get gsync to work. I turned off v-sync in game and in the nvidia control panel and even turned on the Gsync indicator, and it's saying that gsync is on, but I'm still seeing huge amounts of screen tearing. I thought Gsync was supposed to fix that. What am I missing?

Under 'Manage 3D settings' turn Gsync on and activate Vsync, turn Vsync OFF in all your games.
Also check you have activated Gsync under the Display>' set up Gsync ' setting.

DO you mean turn Vsync on in the control panel, because every tutorial I've seen says to turn it off in the control panel.

Yep, turn it ON in the Nvidia Control Panel, under the ' Manage 3d Settings ' tab, but turn it OFF in your games.

I tried that and it still doesn't work.
