Hello Guys! I' ve got a problem with my card. When i run benchmark in Rome 2 total war it can;t go over 18 fps. No matter of settings used. Same on lowest as on high. Even though on my old 1gb zotac gt 730 it reached playable rates of about 35-40 frames. Problem appears in every total war game. What should i do? What is the cause?

As the FPS are low regardless of settings this suggests the problem is actually elsewhere. 3 things come to mind.

Firstly, is the monitor plugged into the gpu and not the motherboard?

Second, what are your cpu and gpu temperatures when in game?

Lastly, try removing the driver using DDU and then reinstalling the latest driver from the NVidia website.

As said above, check if your monitor connected to your GPU and not to the motherboard.

Okay, i'll try. Monitor is 100% connected to gpu.

I think that the card is the problem here, did you try on other games ?
Did you tried to reinstall drivers ?
Try on other games and if the results still the same than the card got defect or something.

Using Msi Afterburner i discovered constant 98-100% GPU usage. Even in Empire total war or Mount & Blade With fire and sword. Meanwhile in gta V even with 99% gpu usage is no stuttering or other issue.

What happens to gpu and cpu usage if you lower resolution?

I also ask you to answer my 2nd & 3rd points from my last post, it could help. It would also help to have the full pc spec.

My specs are: Win 7 64bit, 6.5gb of ram, core 2 quad q9400 2.66GHz (overclocked to 3032MHz), geforce gt 1030 2Gb OC edition. I had reinstalled drivers, and temps are only at about 50-60 degrees when gaming.

Sounds like a CPU bottleneck.
