Question GT 1030 no DVI signal

Hi all

I'm trying to connect the DVI out of my GT 1030 to my monitor's DisplayPort and I just can't get any signal.
I've tried 3 different cables - 2 passive and one active, 2 different monitors (different vendors too - ViewSonic and BenQ), nothing works.

HDMI works fine with both monitors, but I need 2 screens, so one has to be connected via the DVI out as both of these monitors have only HDMI, DP, and VGA.
I am running Linux Mint, but I do not think this is an issue with the OS, although I'm happy to try booting in Windows.

Other specs:
ASUS PH-GT1030-O2G
MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 5600x

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks.

Yes, I have checked the cables I was using and turned out they all were DP out/DVI in while I need the opposite. I need to learn to read apparently.
Ordered HDMI-DVI bidirectional cable already.
