GT 240 DDR3

Hi,
i am planning to buy gt 240 ddr3 as ddr5 version is not available in my city .So i a want to know wheather i will be able to play the following games at 1400*900 resolution with gt 240 ddr3.please help me out.
The games that i want to play are
Assasin creed1 and 2
NFS hot pursuit 2010
just cause 2
dirt 3
prince of persia forgotten sands
mass efffect 3
resident evil 5
FIFA11
ans games that are realsed before 2008-09

You may be able to play older games. The higher resolution will drop the frame rates. Don't know about your other specs such as CPU.

I had a 9600gt which is basically the same card.

Assasin creed1 and 2 -yes
NFS hot pursuit 2010 -yes
just cause 2 -You might have to lower settings
dirt 3 -will run ok on dx10, mid-high settings perhaps
prince of persia forgotten sands - will run maxed
mass efffect 3 have to lower settings
resident evil 5 -will run at absolute max settings even at 1920x1080
FIFA11 -yes

this card will do okay as long as you put it next to a quad core cpu.

oh that makes it more tough. You won't be able to max out some of the titles I listed above. tbh you can run anything with a gt240 in low-mid settings. I used to run crysis on my 9500gt in low settings at 1440x990. Your card will run ALL the new and old games in low-mid settings. So you don't have to worry about compatibility. Your gpu is capable of running every titles.

That is correct, with the current generation games you will have to lower graphic settings

better go with sapphire 6670 1 gb ddr5 version it ruins gts 450 like a charm
