Question GTA 5 Fullscreen mode black screen

Hello everyone , whenever i launch the game its launches on windowed mode everything is fine but when i switch to fullscreen the screen goes black until the game loads and then it show the game menu but im not able to press or do anything and i can still hear the sound in the background

i tried almost everything , reinstalled the game , fresh driver install with ddu , but it still persists , i also tried some fixes with rockstar's support chat but nothing worked
has anyone ever encountered this ?

hey , sry for the late reply i was away for a couple of days

my specs are following

CPU: i7 8700 k O'c @ 4.7 ghz
GPU: MSI GTX 1080 ARMOR OC 8 GB
MB: ASUS PRIME Z370 p
PSU:Cooler Master Masterwatt lite 700 W
RAM: 2x 8 GB Ripjaws
HDD : 1 TB HDD ( OS on it and most games )
SSD: 120 GB

The weird part is that it only happens in gta and it used to work before
