GTA V Hard Copy able to play with Steam Friends?

A little while ago I preordered gta 5 from a store because I didn't want to waste time downloading it with my download speeds (700kb/s) I'm now worrying I won't be able to play with my steam friends. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I've researched a little bit, but I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. Many thanks.

The GTA V physical copy isn't out yet. Did you buy a fake copy?

I think you can activate it on steam.

You would have to add your Steam friends to Rockstar Social Club using their Social Club IDs and play with them that way.
