GTA V not running smooth

I have an fx 6300 and a gtx 1050 ti .I have cpu bottleneck and the game doesnt run smooth .40 fps for me are aweful and unplayable .Exept from caping my fps and upgrading my pc what else can I do ? Any graphical preset recomentations ?

Turn down graphic options that use more vram and lower population density if thats an option.

It doesnt run smooth even on high settings

With your PC you should be running on the lowest settings possible, and slowly (if possible) turn things up until you have a good balance for you.

When I turn up some settings I have stuttering

As soon as you start having issues, turn things back down a bit until it's stable.

^This, but try to test the settings out in the most demanding part of the game world.
