Should i be able to play any 128 mb graphics minimum game over 60 FPS avergage with a GTS 250? Excluding Far Cry 2. Or now with the new games that even require 128mb minimum it would be a different story? I would be playing at a 1280 x 1024 resolution with 4 anti-aliasing and 8 anistropic filtering. I have a phhenom ii 720 x3 processor at 2.8ghz (stock) and i have 4gb of 800mhz ram.

You can play most any game at that res with all high settings, but don't get your hopes up with AA.

If you haven't bought the card yet, go for the 4870. Will be much better than the GTS250 for not much more.

i have the card already, i have these settings for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and i get round 80 - 100 FPS average. I'm wondering if Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is representive of most other games. With Call Of duty 4 I think i also get near 100 FPS avergae. For G.R.A.W i get about 80. I'm planning on getting Frontlines Fuel Of War which i had on my xbox but gave it to my brother because he is in university. I wonder if there any benchmarks for that game.

i thought it would be a safer buy because it requires only 1 PCI power connector, my PSU is an average 650watt "Win Power". I suppose i aught to have gone for the 4870 or GTX 260 since it doesn't consume that much more power really!?! compared to the GTS 250. My components seem to be very safe with this PSU i just thought that since this isn't one of those good quality PSU's like Corsair i would be better of sticking with a GTS 250 and i would only be playing at 1280x1024 resolutions where the gtx 260 is for 1600 resolutions it would be overkill playing at 1280 but not for Crysis though.
