I bought myself a GTX 1050ti GPU for my Prebult HP Pro 3400 MT, i got a new 500W power supply and have been using a GTX 750 for roughly 5 years.

I uninstalled my current graphics drivers and installed the 1050ti and bootup my pc, While it is booting i can see everything with my pc specs and is alright but when it loads onto my windows 10 login screen it is just blurry with lines going horizontally across the screen, but occasionally when it started everything is enlarged

I would like some help because i would really like to ge tthis working
Thanks!

Hm... the blurry lines sounds like something could be wrong with the graphics card. Resolution doesn't concern me as much as it could just be Windows basic display driver. If possible see if you can test the GTX 1050ti on another computer to verify whether it does work properly.

However the main concern is there seems to be cases of people trying this upgrade before but doesn't work.

It's a possibility companies like HP use a locked BIOS to limit upgrades. While (I suspect) unlikely, you could see if there are BIOS updates for the motherboard which allows it to work.

I'm sure I'm missing something, so hopefully others will chime in to fill in the gaps.
