Would i get more bang for my buck if i went for the 960 4gb? Im upgrading from the 750ti 2gb and i have a core i5 4590

Both $60 and come with a rebate putting them under $50. I prefer the SeaSonic G550

Mail in rebates are a pain in the ass no point at all i would rather buy somthing for the price im looking for in the first place

A 960 wasn't a very appealing "bang for buck" card when it was launched, and the 3GB variant of the 1060 isn't too, too appealing today.

It's tough to justify a 3GB 1060, with a 6GB version only being in the ~$40 range more - but I would still opt for the 3GB card over an 960 variant........... provided you're not looking to play at resolutions above 1080p

Remember that the GTX 1060 6GB has more than just 3GB more memory than the GTX 1060 3GB GPU, GTX 1060 6GB and GTX 1060 3GB cards are powered buy the same GP106 GPU, but the GTX 1060 3GB, as the name implies, is limited to a 3GB RAM buffer. It also has a slightly reduced core count (1,152 cores, down from 1,280) and 72 texture units, down from 80 (the GTX 1060 6GB is the full version of theGPU and has 1,280 core count, and 80 texture units).
So basically, the GTX 1060 3GB card is not as powerful as GTX 1060 6GB which comes with the "full" GP106 GPU...
