GTX 1060 and WoW

I have an i5 7600k and GTX 1060 EVGA SC 6gb. 16gb RAM.

Do you think i can run wow on Ulta at 144fps? I have a 144 refresh rate monitor. If not, what settings can i run at with a decent FPS rate?

I'd bet you could run ultra or near ultra settings no problem. Don't worry about it.

Shadows have the biggest impact.

Worst case you would drop shadows from ultra to high with everything else on ultra.

Thanks for the replies but are you suggesting 144 fps should be no problem? i mean, i know in major cities probably not. but in open-world....?

143 avg fps , 110fps lowest. On legion. Guess your good to go.

You will be able to get 144 fps with that card for sure.

The question is if it will be at everything ultra or a mixture of ultra and very high/high

If you have a g-sync monitor then even at 110 fps minimum dips in the last post everything should be super smooth.

If you lowered a few settings to High, like shadows, you can make your minimum 144 fps if you don't have g-sync.
