So my GTX 1060 6gb stopped giving any display to the monitor after i restarted my computer because my system was laggy and freezing, after that i was having no display on my monitor so i had to use an alternative GPU (GT 610) just so i can get display, firstoff i have a really old monitor (VH222D) which supports only VGA ports, i used HDMI to VGA cable which used to work but not after the restart, i thought this issue was my monitor since its very old, i tried plugging the computer to my TV which supports only HDMI ports and no display at all, tried reseating GPU or switching PCIE slot didn't work at all, then i reinstalled the OS to see if there could have been a software issue but the GTX 1060 still didnt give any display and just had to use GT 610 for this case

- I have tried a lot of solutions that i know of to fix this issue but i was starting to believe that it is a faulty GPU, before i could establish that it is a faulty Gtx 1060, Can anyone address all of the causes for no GPU display to the monitor so i can comedown and believe that it is a faulty Gtx 1060, i would appreciate it a lot, let me know if more information is needed.
Also is there a software to scan for any errors on a GPU, kinda like MemTest86 or the Windows Memory Diagnostic

what is the power supply your using and age.

gt 610 would draw very little power so it could be a power issue related
