GTX 1060 Not being detected by motherboard, help ples

I recently built a new pc and everything works properly, except for my gtx 1060. its an asus turbo. before i plug the vga cable from my psu into it a little red light is there. after i plug the vga cable in it turns white. but when i go into device manager and display drivers, all that is there is intel integrated graphics. if someone could help that would be great, and i cant download the drivers for it because i cant download geforce experience since it says that theres no detected nvidia gpu. aswell there are 2 dvi ports, one from my motherboard and one from my 1060. but if i plug my dvi cable into the 1060, theres no image or anything, so im using the motherboard dvi port.

If a new card will work, that´s fine, but please check in advance:

The BIOS version inside BIOS itself. Enter Bios by pressing "del" key.
If your PC doesn´t allow that, use "MSI FAST BOOT" tool to boot into BIOS directly.
Which BIOS version is it? (will show in BIOS as "BIOS ver:")

up to date version is "B.8"

If a AMD card works, it still could be that a nvidia card doesn´t, even if the nvidia card is fine itself. Or did the Service Center check your graphics card as well in another PC?

Some random radeon one. not sure tho.

Listen..i had the same problem with my gtx 1060 mini..i was going mad for 10 dayz,Plus i droped it on a parking lot and it hit hard on the concrete.lol,,it was unboxed,and i droped it as it is,without anything wrapped arround it..but wasnt gonna give up..was puting the old gpu it worked the new one No..every single possible thing..Then i updated bios,downloaded ddu.-.used ddu and choose third option clean and shutdown(a option that is recomended for instaling a new hardware..)..So AFTER it shut down i have put the new gpu in,turn on the computer and install drivers on to it ,and amaseingly it worked,,,Just NOTE,this gtx 1060 dont turn on funs unless they get to 60 degrees celsius,,thats how they are made...Just do execatly as i said and i hope itll work for you..DONT use the cd that came with the card.!,,i had a previously downloaded drivers from nvidia page but they were not UNPACKED with win rar so ddu let them stay,,SO when my gpu was finaly recognised i unpacked the driver and install it and it just worked man,!sorry for my english,

alright thanks everyone for all the help, but i went to ncix to find a final solution, and other graphics cards work in my pc, so my grpoahics card was dead. talked to asus, and now im sending it to one of their repair centres. i appreciate the help tho.

The gpu is not faulty!..rest one day and try what worked for me..trust me i was gonna smashe it against the floor..

like said before, BIOS update is the thing to do before installing any new hardware or if it doesn´t work at all
