GTX 1070 Acting Slow In Overwatch

My GTX 1070 is running super slow on Overwatch. I'm talking dipping under 144FPS on all low settings....

I have a GTX 1070 Strix, 6700k, 16gb ram, I'm not hardware bottlenecked. It seems to be the game? I'm mostly concerned that my GPU is broken, but I don't believe it is. Can I get some help?

By the way, this randomly happened in just 1 day. Just dipped randomly while playing and I haven't been getting my same FPS at around 200+ never under 200. Really weird. Could be a patch?

In nvidia control panel try changing the power option (can be done globally or per game basis) from optimal performance to maximum performance. Though as you said game patch can also affecting performance.
