I have a monitor and a TV. Both are 1080 @ 60 Hz. I would like to set up my main monitor and have my TV as an option for a 2nd monitor running both at the same time.
The dilemma is that the FTW edition only has one HDMI output and the TV only has HDMI ports. The 1070 also has 3x Display Port 1.4. The monitor has both HDMI and Display Port.
Here's the question:
Should I run my main monitor with the Display Port, or would I be better off getting a display port to HDMI converter to run the TV through, while keeping the monitor on the original HDMI port?
I just want to use the TV for an extra browsing monitor and to play Rocket League with a 2nd player online, when I have a friend over. I might also want to use the TV for various single player games when I just want to sit on the couch. Games like Shadows of Mordor or GTA for example.
Thanks in advance!
