Games and FPS i have tested are as follows. The i5 is at max turbo clock (3.6Ghz)

Witcher 3 : - Max Settings with Hairworks kaer morhan 55 FPS Average

AC Unity - Max settings with all Nvidia stuff enabled 44 FPS average

Star Citezin - You know how this is... maxed out 20 fps .

Questions?

Solution
thats a cpu bottleneck mate. if the cpu hits 100% the gpu will be forced to wait till the cpu can respond, which results in the lower than expected fps.
if you have the cooling and the ability. oc your cpu to 4.5ghz from what ive seen it should be enough to alleviate the problems.

Samsung 1080P , 60 Hz monitor.

All games maxed out to the absolute maximum with V Sync disabled.

install msi afterburner

turn on temp monitoring for the cpu and gpu in the OSD, it also has a fps counter

run a game, post back with max temps

Ok, max temperature playing witcher 3 is 77 degrees.

I Tested Crysis 3 and the FPS is all over the place. When in Dense grass areas it's like 40-50 fps that grass is insane.....

I dont know if its the fact im running on a PCI - E 2.0 @ 16 X Speed that might be slowlying my performance even though i have heard it has 0 effect on performance even on 2 titans in sli. Or maybe my i5 4590 is the bottleneck even tho its at 3.6 Ghz turbo mode. I dont know. Maybe its just the 1070 Being over hyped?

77 degrees for gpu or cpu?

2.0 x16 would have no noticeable effect

do you have super resolution turned on?

No I'm pretty sure its just standard stuff. One weird thing though is that when I put GPU in and started up pc for first time the drivers automatically installed. So naturally I went into grforce experience and it was surprisingly the latest drivers possible. I don't know how it instslled the drivers itself though. 75-77 degrees on GPU with 99-100% utilization on witcher 3 with 61 degrees on CPU using 60-70% of cpu.

Have you play Rise of the tomb raider and The Divison?

Yes. Not ruse of raider. I played division with max settings with 50 fps average

The Divison with HBAO+ on and object detail 100%?

Yep. With nvidia settings enabled to.

Maybe they were paid. My friend gets similar frames than me. With same setup.

Doubtful. I have read many reviews from all over the Internet when I was researching what GPU to buy and all of them had much higher numbers than you. I highly doubt Nvidia would pay off reviewers to bump up their benchmark scores by 30 FPS. If they were following that practice it would have come out by now since there are dozens of reviewers. Plus it's easy for people to do their own benchmarks when they get the cards so their pay off scam would only last a couple weeks before it was uncovered when the masses get them into their homes.

Do you really think that both Nvidia and dozens of professional reviewers would risk their reputation by providing false benchmarks that are inflated by about 30 FPS when they know the truth would come out so quickly? It's much more likely that their is a problem with your system.

There is no problem, All my parts are brand new and im a professional PC Builder.

:)

Are you saying this is your video review? The FPS numbers stated in this video are more in line with the professional reviews and much higher than the numbers you posted here.

Edit: for example, in the video you said that The Division was averaging 75 FPS maxed out but in this thread you said it was averaging 50.

@DayRider, They aren't paid, and if they were and their benchmarks were half the actual performance like you are suggesting, they would have zero credibility among the PC community and that obviously isn't the case.

Something is clearly wrong with your configuration or with the actual hardware itself, because you are getting 1440 performance on 1080 (should double check your resolution settings). Reinstall your drivers, check and make sure clockspeed is fine with GPUID, double check all of your game settings, use a different benchmark program or reinstall the one you currently have as it could not be installed properly, etc.

If your using a founder's edition, there's a decent chance there is a problem with it, because reference cards are notorious for not being quality controlled. Your motherboard is also notorious for not playing well with graphics cards or really anything for that matter. I'd check those two first, and work from there.

@Ellas, Depends on what resolution you are play at. For 1080, it'll be fine. For 1440, it'll still be fine unless you need 60 FPS minimum. For 4K you'll more than likely either have to upgrade, which you should want to do anyways, or get a second one for SLI.

Lol...your blaming my motherboard? and your blaming Nvidia and the card? Please.. get your facts right mate.
