[SOLVED] Gtx 1070 Temperatures ok?

Hi just wondering if my temperatures are safe or at least ok. My GPU - a gtx 1070 runs at 72-78c on ultra on high end games @ full 1080p.

Is this ok? Any tips or warnings?

It's fine. If you start going into the 80s maybe increase case air flow alittle. What case do you have?

Thanks for the reply. It's an old predator g3-605 (I think) case with not much airflow. I keep the lid off at moment just to keep temps at 72c avg. Lid on they get to about 79c. I've added another fan to the case too.

There not bad temps but could use some help though.
Have you tried Msi afterburner and setting a more aggressive fan curve to come on sooner and higher?

Hi yes I've got afterburner. Fans are whacked up to 100 all the time too 😆.

Might list your specs of the system maybe the guys can suggest another case for better airflow.

The motherboard is an acer g3-605 the power supply leading to it is the only reason haven't switched out cases. As it's a predator prebuild.

Can I take the MOBO and power supply out and put in any case?

Looks like might be a different motherboard pin out.

Some perusing of Google says that this adapter should be what is needed for a psu swap.

So your biggest thing might be trying to get the new case to match the front panel. If you could find the wires that would turn off/on that may be good. But others may have more info.
