Hello guy, this is my first topic on this forum, so if i've posted in wrong area, please i'm sorry.

I've ran for help to you guys cause I know this is the best forum on web.

Well, my brother lives in Miami, and I have a chance to bring a 1080 to Brazil (which is a lot expensive here).

I'm looking for 2 main models on newegg.com. The first is Aorus Rev 2.0 (not xtreme version) for $ 580,00.
Link: Gtx 1080 Aorus rev 2.0

The other one is EVGA GTX 1080 FTW, about $50,00 cheaper.
Link: GTX 1080 FTW

GTX wil run on:
CPU: Core i7 7700k
AOI: Maelstrom 240t
MB: Asus Strix z270f
RAM: 16gb Geil Evo Potenza 3000mhz
PSU: EVGA 700B
Chasis: Raidmax Sigma

The GPU is exlusive for gaming and my doubts are:

1) I've searched on Gigabyte's website and they've donwgrade the rev 2.0 version of Aorus memory clock to 10gbps and not 11gbps anymore. Until which point the memory clock beats higher core clock? Is it still worth to buy the Aorus?

2) Clearly, FTW has lower clocks, but $ 50,00 cheaper. Does the difference worth?

3) I also have been looking for Aorus GTX 1080 Aorus Xtreme for $ 600,00, which has higher core clock and 11gbps memory clock (this would be the best option), but i'm not so comfortable to spend this amount of money.
I'm open to hear other better options at this budget (is it's possible).

Thanks a lot everyone.

The real world boost clock for both cards wll be higher than advertised and the cards will perform pretty much identically. I would get the cheaper EVGA and you could always overclock the memory to see if you could hit 11gbps. It is not guaranteed but most cards can get to that speed.

Thanks for the answer krells.

I see , didn't know about the "real boost" of the gpus.
I wasn't really thinking of overclocking, but get factory clocks.

So you really think they will perfom similar? Look what he have here:

1080 Aorus:
Core Clock Boost:1873 MHz/ Base:1733 MHz in OC Mode
Boost:1847 MHz/ Base:1708 MHz in Gaming Mode
CUDA® Cores 2560
Process Technology 16 nm
Memory Clock 10010 MHz (11Gbps for rev 1.0)

1080 FTW:
1708MHz Base Clock
1847MHz Boost Clock
273.2GT/s Texture Fill Rate
8192MB GDDR5X Memory
10010MHz Memory Clock
320GB/s Memory Bandwidth

1080 Aorus Xtreme Version:
Core Clock Boost: 1936 MHz / Base: 1784 MHz in OC mode
Boost: 1898 MHz / Base: 1759 MHz in Gaming mode
CUDA® Cores 2560
Process Technology 16 nm
Memory Clock 11010 MHz

Should I stay with FTW?

I've already seen this bench, but i've forgotten after a lot of research haahah... It clears my mid. I think I'll go with EVGA FTW, cause the difference of 2 fps from the fastest gpu doens't worth the money.

Thanks!
