Hey guys, wanted to get a few opinions here.

I am currently running a GTX 1080 on a 144hz 1080p system. I've had it for a few years now and I've not experienced any problems, but at max settings it fails to hit 144 fps on some games.

Would you recommend upgrading to the RTX 2080? Or would you suggest waiting? Budget won't be a problem but obviously I don't want to waste money if it isn't necessary.

My current setup is;

GTX 1080
i7 9700k @ 5GHz
16GB DDR4
ASUS z390-E Gaming Motherboard
750W PSU

Not many official sites benchmark high-end cards in 1080p. If were to try compare, the below benchies in 1440p/4k shows roughly 30fp between 1080 and 2080s. Where ever your fps sits right now, probably think between 20~30 more.

Could wait too, new cards wouldn't too far away.
