Will the 1080 ti bottleneck ryzen 5 1600? And could i future proof myself for like 4 years with the 1080 ti?

Ryzen 1600 probably wouldn't bottleneck both the cardsi. Depends on game too.
And 1070 is good for 1080p 144hz gaming, if 1080p 60hz then still useless.

there is no way to future proof anything, by the time the 1080ti is out it would probably by it not working with the newest dx and not from it being not powerful enough to play the games

But you're basically wasting your money if you're running on a lower resolution than it's meant to be for the graphics card. We're suggesting for your good.

Should i buy a 1070 now and sell it and buy a 1080 when/if i have a better monitor? Im not really planning on upgrading again in the next 2 years so if im wasting a bit of money today atleast it last atleast a bit

Well i'm definitely not getting a 4k monitor, 1440p sounds good though. Currently i am thinking about these items:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI B350 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: GeIL EVO X 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
650 watt psu (wich should be fine for the 1080 ti incase i go with it?)or this psu: Corsair Professional Series AX 850 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Gold (AX850)

Another question i have is do i need an ssd? I'm not sure just what it does.

Nope the extra 100$ isn't worth it, you'll have to spend an extra on a Z270 motherboard and an aftermarket cooler. The Ryzen 1600 also takes advantage because of it's extra 2 cores.
Games just need to be optimized more for Ryzen processors.

That's also a solid power supply. But 550w will be enough, even if you upgrade to a 1080 ti.
