GTX 295 Today's performance in gaming

I've read the GTX 295 can perform as well as a 750Ti in certain scenarios in gaming.

Is this true?

If not, what would the GTX 295 be equivalent to in terms of today's GPU's? Would it be a 7770? a 7790? etc etc.
 


I agree, It sounds selfish, however, I will rarely be using the PC, I have a Ps4 for my AAA games, so this is for older games, I can assure you now, the PC will rarely be used, that's why extreme power consumptions isn't a problem,

Saying that in regular use, people complaining about an i5 that uses 20W over another is just petty, one light bulb in a house will use more than that. That's why the power comsumption of a PC to me isn't a big deal, if it uses 100 - 200W more because compared to the rest of your house, it's petty.
