How well would the GTX 560 (non-ti) generally perform at 1920x1080? (@i5-2500k), are there any owners of this particular card?

Additionally, would the game look really 'ugly' or 'OK' if lowered it to the next appropiate 1600x900 resolution? :??:

IMO its all about the effects and textures. I find once you're past 1680x1050, unless you have a massive monitor you won't really notice such an incremental difference.

also 1680x1050 is 16:10 where as 1080p is 16:9 so to me any way I perceive the screen to be bigger because I don't have black bars on the top and bottom of my screen.

Soo would going down from 1920x1080 to 1600x900 be just about ok on a 21.5" monitor. I am saying this incase the gtx 560 struggles to run at full native resolution.

So by decreasing from the native resolution @ 1920x1080 to 1600x900 to gain better fps, would it look ugly? (21.5" monitor)

No. It will not look ugly.

I have a 22" monitor, and I choose to play at 1680x1050 because it is a 16:10 screen ratio which makes it feel bigger.

I find that with 1920x1080 (aka 1080p) the black bars across the top and bottom of my screen make everything feel smaller and squished even though you're technically able to see more on screen.

Oh thanks, I have purchased the following 1080 monitor http://www.cclonline.com/product/71177/ET-WS0HE-B01/Monitors/Acer-S220HQLBrbd-21-5-inch-Widescreen-Full-HD-LED-Backlight-LCD-Monitor/MON0618/

I will certainly be decreasing the resolution without any concerns about the quality if required. It should get the most out of my card in terms of longtevity with future games.
