GTX 580 HDMI

Hello, I ordered a new computer with GTX 580, Now my question is how I connect the gpu to the monitor which is Asus 21.5" led full HD ?
As far as I know they both have HDMI connectors but so far I used VGA to VGA cables... So I need HDMI to HDMI cable or else ?

Your standard hdmi cable will do the trick

If I use only hdmi cable then no need to connect the vga cable ?
Is there any quality difference ? with 1920x1080 res
