this is relative, the tests say 2x 560 is better, but you must know that this will only work on SLI, some games are incompatible, and other don't give so much improvement in SLI, but if you always keep your drivers up to date, and don't worry about downloading some extra patchs to improve performance here and there on SLI, take 2 560ti, otherwise for a solid performance, 580.

but i'm saying about this 560 ti.

if it were the 560 (fermi) i would go for 580

Yea the 2x 560's is just too close to call. Now. If it were 2x 560 ti's (672 vs 768 CUDA Cores). Now the math is 1 GTX 580 has 512. So both SLI set ups have more cuda cores. But this doesn;t change the fact that 1 560 is weaker than a 580 (obviously). So both SLI setups can be in the range know as GTX 585. the 560 ti Setup is a much better choice. But 1 560 ti twinfrozr2 is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127594 (239.99 plus shipping). So 2 would be about 500$ total for the 2. Any reason why it has to be MSI?

The thing is I'm saving $120 if I go with the 560's, I don't have much interest in the 560 ti, I know the risks of Es El Aye and Crossfire(X) but if 2x 560 is better than a 580 for 120 cheaper I'll take the plunge anyday.

My computer component provider is picky with all its warranties aside from Msi, I don't know if Msi has anything to do with it personally, but I managed to return a 5670 that wasn't even broken for a new one. It was in fact corrupt drivers that was giving me artifacts and they still accepted it.

I'm just returning the favor by buying from Msi, which is generally one of the cheaper brands anyways.

i'm not sure if 2x 560 no ti will be better, but i think they get close. (at some games)

but 2x 560 ti WILL BE better.

from those 2 options you give, i would go for the 580 only because of the risks of sli (what is with the Es El Aye lol), i would always recommend a high end single card than going to SLI.

Yeah, I guess getting the 580 is safer and it probably has some OC headroom. Thanks!

Heh, I dunno, just some jovial typing.
