Gtx 670 + core i5 2.6GHz?

PSU: CoolerMaster 550W extreme
GPU: ASUS GTX 670
Display: ASUS VH236H 23"

First of all sorry, my english is not perfect

I'm having many FPS drops playing Battlefield 3 (1920x1080 Low settings) same thing happens in GuildWars2 especially in WvWvW (massive pvp) Im not completely sure if its a CPU problem or GPU but I had better performance in BF3 using my last GPU (Sapphire 5770 vapor-x 1gb in 1360x768 18.5" monitor) and almost the same performance in GW2.

Help please? 😀 Thank you in advance

hi there,

1st of all, i would like to talk about your cpu.

your cpu is already 3 years old, and it doesnt have enough speed to catch up with the latest gpu that is gtx 670.

that is why it performs better with the hd 5770 because it runs on par with your i6 750.

I also think it is a CPU problem but now, do you think I should buy a better LGA 1156 CPU ?(CORE i3 550 3.20GHZ/4Mb) or buy another mobo(LAG1155) and CPU

your cpu is enough for gaming! i dont think that the problem is the cpu. overclock it and you will be fine!
