Hey guys,
My friend just bought a GTX 750 2GB Gigabyte not sure that it's Oc or not,So he just put the Gpu into his pcie port and start the PC but there was no Display the fan was running and yeah it requires a 6 pin connector too and we have 6 pin connector too we used DVI port later we used Hdmi port nothing happens my friends Specs are:
I5 2400
4GB DDR3 1333Mhz
500GB HDD
525W PSU (don't know the model) (the card requires 400W)
He is using an Asus motherboard forgot the model :)

Later He tried the GPU on other friends PC the card was also not working on his PC his PC was also a 2nd gen i5 with gigabyte mother board with 550W Psu

So he told me about this Issue, So I told him to use his old GPU he used his GT 640 2GB and it was working
So we Tried his GTX 750 2GB in my PC I have a GTX 1050 Ti MSI Oc.His GPU worked in my Pc we my detect driver too we tried sevaral games like BF1,BF2,Saints row Iv, dragon ball fighterz we thing was fine we used the gpu for 2 hours my specs are :

That's all so what should we do ?
And yeah some one told me to do a bois reset but I didn't understand it and doesn't want to take any risk ( sorry for bad english)

Solution
The 750/ti was the very first Maxwell gpu. It was also the first to start using primarily a uefi bios. The bios on your buddies pc is a legacy bios and there was multiple issues with conflicts between uefi and legacy. The bios in your pc is uefi. So you won't have issues with bios compatability but he might.

If a simple cmos/bios reset does not work, your best bet is to have him upgrade his bios to the most recent released, which will include any bug fixes and hopefully any bios microcode fixes for legacy/uefi compatability.

When flashing a new bios, follow the directions to the letter. Do not get impatient and skip a step, or try and rush it. Do not turn off or reset the pc unless directed to do so or you will brick the bios and...

And should I reset my Motherboard or my friend's ???

One thing more the card should plugged in or not ? (sorry for silly questions )

Do not turn off or reset the pc unless directed to do so or you will brick the bios and the motherboard is then ruined. It's an advanced procedure and not to be taken lightly. If there's any doubt on your/friends part, take it to a shop and have them flash the bios.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Gogeto_16 : "GTX 750 2GB is working only in my pc why?"

a cmos reset is made by removing the little battery on the board for about 1 min power off and put it back also do not touch both side of it with your hand then start system and check gpu in .

I tried It but nothing happened

I guess you're right. I should take it to a shop thankx buddy will reply soon if this works ...

One thing more about 1 hour ago I tried the Card in a Friend's Pc which worked !!! Core 2 Duo 4GB RAM Intel motherboard 460W PSU.but didn't worked in AMD Phenom,Core i5 2400 and I5 2500

It can be hit or miss, much depends on the bios and revision. There was less issues on much older bios as they were pure legacy, and slightly newer bios were almost hybrid as uefi was just entering the game, so some bios had things like fastboot and CSM for windows 8, not found in the older bios designed for windows Vista and XP

Yeah this makes sense. Thanks alot mate will let you know If updating bios worked
