I'm so confused about which one to get, because I don't want to upgrade for about 2-4,
which one should I go for, also will more games in the future support physx, so will it matter more in the future, also will the games soon require more than 2gb of vram

also which model of the should I get
ex. sapphire vapor-x 7970 ghz

The thing is they trade blows assuming we are talking about a 7970GE or a "normal" 7970 running at GE speeds (which they all should be able to do).

If you want PhysX go with the 770. However the cheapest 4gig770 is about $440 on new egg and the cheapest 7970GE is $375 both have free game offers (the amd you get 3 to choose from 6 and the 770 you get two games no choice).

However I would personally buy a "standard" 7970 for $300 and OC to GE levels since it almost garrentee to OC to that level and save $140 plus still get the free games.

yes it does....
