GTX 780 or R9 290x

CPU: i7 4770k 3.5 GHz
2nd CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz
simple as that, which is better?
Just seeing which one to get. but of course, If you have any other suggestions, leave it down below. But i dont want no over the top cpu/gpu. something around the same price range as these CPU's/GPU's

If you decide to go with the 290x it would be better to wait till the AIB-partners release their custom cooler versions (DirectCopper, WindForce, Twin Frozr and the like...) since the reference cooler is a bit sucky one... (edit rumours say maybe late November?)

as for the cpu the i7 is the better choice no doubt, even the i5 4670K would be better than the FX for games and you'd save some money....

I was gonna go i7 and gtx 780, but i wanted to see what other people said
