I am running MSI Afterburner and I left my pc on overnight with nothing running besides afterburner 8 hours have passed and firs t thing I did was check my gpu temp it's idling at 54 55 c
is this right or should it be a lot lower i have decent airflow with 2 fans on the very top of my mid sized case and I have a cooler master hyper evo 212 with 2 fans on my cpu.My room temp is at 64-65 and my card is a evga gtx 780 ti with 1 on board fan.
I forgot I have my fan on the gtx 780 turned up with afterburner I turned that off so now the fan is running at stock speeds and my idle temp is 62-63c that has to be to hot for idle what should i do??

Solution
Found the problem I recently upgraded to windows 10. I just rolled back to windows 7 and now my GTX 780 ti is idling at 32c with the fan at stock speed.
Is windows 10 that much more heavier of a load ? That's a big difference win 10 idle 60c win 7 idle 32c I guess I wont be upgrading my windows anytime soon.

yes i did a windows 10 version for the 780 driver 361.43 clean install.I might try doing a fresh install of windows 10 there's so much stuff i would have to reinstall mostly game clients
