I really meant to get around to this a while back, but my computer has been running extremely slow recently. I used to play WoW with around 80 FPS on Medium quality or so but now I can barely play it on low. They've updated a lot of it and made new models, but I doubt that alone is the issue.

I feel in general that my computer is slowing down. I've never done a tune up of any kind, never tried to see how far I could push the limits of my machine, mostly because I never really knew where to go to ask, so I figured I would give this a shot.

When I try to go to msinfo32 to give my specs it tells me "Can't collect information" and tells me to make sure Winmgmt is running. This ended up being a half an hour of googling that did absolutely nothing for me, so I'll just give you what information I can and if I'm missing anything just let me know.

I'm running antiviruses now.

I've tried setting my performance settings to maximum performance only, because this is a gaming laptop, which means unless I'm charging it I get absolutely nothing in the name of saving power. So I just have it plugged in all the time now. Bad for my battery? Probably. I don't really care about that particularly, I can buy a new one, and I'll hopefully be making my gaming PC within a year anyways, this is just to make sure in the meantime by performance is bearable.

I've been looking into getting an SSD, which I think might help. Again, I'm going into this completely blind, so if anyone can point out anything I can do to make my laptop run better or anything else I can provide to help anyone looking to give advice it would be much appreciated.

Have you monitored your temps? Install HWMonitor and keep an eye on your temps while playing, if your laptop is thermal throttling then that could be your performance loss.
