Hello.

I want to know why my gpu is not working under full load.
When i put every setting on lowest my gpu usage just drops but fps doesnt increase.
I know its not a cpu bottlneck because when i set everything on max my gpu is working under full load.
Can someone explain why it is happening or its just a bug in game.
Thanks

My specs:
CPU: FX-6100 @ 3,8 GHz EDIT: Its 3,8 not 3,9
GPU: MSI GTX 960 2GB
PSU: Chietech 500w 80+ bronze
RAM: 8 GB @ 1600 MHz

I am playing on lowest i can and i get like 40 - 60 fps and gpu load doest go above 35 %

Oh well thats an issue. When you turn the settings up the gpu gets close to 100%? what kind of fps are you getting with the settings turned up?

When everything is on max usage is around 98% and around 40 fps. If i lower the resolution to 800x600 fps should be very high but they are not. only gpu usage drops. On other games i have never encountered this problem.

Sorry, but this sounds like a CPU bottleneck. GTA V is pretty demanding on the CPU. Is it overclocked at all? The FX chips are great OC'ers - would be a good test to see whether or not you can get some more performance out of it with a mild 4-500 MHz overclock.

GTA runs best on my FX 8320 at above 4 GHz - it doesn't do as well at the stock 3.5.

I don't think its the game, I have a similar setup and gta v runs just fine for me. Could be something flaky with your drivers have you tried to do a clean reinstall of your nvidia drivers yet?

No i highly doubt it, i bet i could underclock that 6100 and still get more than 35% usage out of the gpu, that is way to low. I think something is wrong no idea what it might be however.

Yup i uninstalled previous driver with DDU and did a clean install

I have oveclocked it to 3,8 GHz
