GTX 960 or R9 370X

Hey guys I'm upgrading from a gtx 660 and I was wondering which of this two cards are worth the upgrade.

Should I wait for the r9 370x or go ahead and purchase the gtx 960?

Also which will perform better? Can you also tell me why.

From what we know for now only the 380x and 390x are new products, the 370x will be a rebrand most likely r9 280x or r9 290x. Now it is up to you to wait and see if it is a 290x rebarnd which is better then the gtx 960 or will be a r9 280x which is lets say on par with gtx 960.

Either wait till the 370x is released and reviewed/benchmarked or buy the gtx960 now. I'd do the former - wait and see.

Hard to tell what is better at the moment with no official information on R9 370X.

I have no doubt that R9 380 will be more powerful than the GTX 960, but the major focus of the R9 370 seems to be power savings from the rumors I have seen. Its possible that R9 370X will just be an R9 285 for all I know, but I am likely to be wrong.

I recommend waiting for the R9 380. It should be more powerful than the GTX 960 and about the same price, just using a bit more electricity.
