Hi, I am considering buying either a MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4g or a MSI GTX 980 4GD5T, but my concern is, will a GTX 970 gaming 4g do me better on 1080p - gaming and normal use - for the next few years. Or should I opt and go with the GTX 980 4GD5T as it will last me longer.
I don't have any plans on upgrading my monitors (two Acer 23" 1080p 60hz) the next 4 years, as I will start university soon.
I would like to play the mainstream games (COD, CS:GO, Overwatch, LoL) and newer editions of those sorts of games at highest resolution in the next 3 years, and then go medium-high settings for the following 2 years.
All should be above 60fps
Please help.
My rig that I am building is:
i5-6600
16GB 2133mhz DDR4 HyperX Fury
ASRock Z170 Gaming K4
Samsung EVO 850 250gb SSD
RCZ Trion 150 120GB SSD
Corsair Carbide 400C case
Seagate 2TB HDD
