Hi everyone,
I ran into a bit of an issue following the GPU swap where there was no signal coming from the monitor out of the DVI or DP or HDMI port. Everything start normally, fans are spinning on the GPU and I am confident that it is plugged in correctly.
To check whether the system can detect the GTX 970, I plugged it in the second slot of the PCIEx16 (black color) and the old working GTX 560 into the first PCIEx16 slot (blue color). The card was detected under device manager. I also installed the latest driver from NVIDIA, updated the ASUS MB BIOS and clear the CMOS but still no luck. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much
Here is my build:
Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: 8GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 802 MHz
MB: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 (SOcket 942)
"New" GPU: PNY Geforce GTX 970
Old GPU: Asus Geforce GTX 560
Power Supply: Corsair CX750
