Hello everyone.
Yesterday I tried to update my GTX970 drivers but it failed so I updated manually. It was working perfectly but after 1 hour it went black screen. I tried to restart but it didn't work. I changed my HDMI port (was using GTX 970 HDMI port) everything seemed perfect but then I tried to play a game. It was working on 25 fps(usually 250-300fps) and then ı understand that my GTX 970 was not working I tried downloading the drivers again but it failed. I tried to delete all drivers with DDU but I couldn't load them back please help me

Solution

I bought a used ASUS Strix GTX 970 OC on ebay, and the fan was making a loud clicking noise. I filled out the RMA on ASUS's website and they gave me an RMA number and an address to ship it to. They didn't ask where I bought it, only "when" I bought it so they could find out if it was under the 3 year ASUS manufacturer's warranty. Since the GTX 970 only came out 2 years ago, they had no problem replacing it with a refurbished one. No proof of purchase was necessary.
