GTX 980 Physical Damage

I've managed to physically damage my new gtx 980 g1 gaming because of my stupidity, hunger, excitement and exhaustion. I broke the PCI-E power slot of the gpu, but only a very small increment of plastic came off.


Can I still have some warranty ?, maybe repair? or when someday this gpu decided to brake down while still in warranty.

It should still work just fine with the plastic broken. As for warranties, damaged occurred by user is not generally covered. If you play real dumb and say it came that way, I'm sure they would replace it.

Nothing bad would happen right?, that's just a piece of plastic but I want to make sure because I certain that I'm out of warranty

Nope. The main reason the plastic is there is so you don't put the connector in backwards. But since you only broken the corner I don't see a chance of you doing that.
